Then we go inside. This was filmed in the second floor lobby of the Olympia Theater. 174 East Flagler Street, Miami.

Then we see Montoya arriving on a small plane. This was filmed at Opa-locka West Airport at the west end of the east-west runway.

Then we go to the safe house. A very nice safe house. Filmed on location at 4731 Pinetree Drive, Villa Crono, Miami Beach. We saw this used in Miracle Man. We have since seen this location used in the movie, Bad Boys, and in the Burn Notice episodes Eyes Open, and Eye For An Eye.

Then we go inside. This may remind you of the movie Bad Boys as they used this interior in that movie as the residence of Max’s Madam. Filmed on location at 4731 Pinetree Drive, Miami Beach.

Then we see re-used footage from of a Mercedes driving off of Brickell Key over the Brickell Key Bridge. This was originally seen in Smuggler’s Blues.

Then we return to the interior of 4731 Pinetree Drive.

Then we see Stan arrive home expecting to find Holly but instead he finds trouble. Filmed on location inside 7615 Harding Avenue, Miami Beach.

Then we see Tubbs driving northbound on North Federal Highway starting under the 195 overpass before NE 37th Street. Much of this area has changed greatly since I took my re-creation shots back in 2007.

It appears the same 3 small palms we saw in Vice were still there in 2007, but much bigger. @NE39th Street, NE corner.

Then it cuts and we see a close up of a bank building with the camera panning down the front. Banco Libre. In reality this was filmed at 4400 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. For some time this was the IVAX building, now it is Opko Heath.

We see C +T pull up out front on Biscayne Blvd.

Then we see an exterior establishing shot that is re-used footage from season two, Sons And Lovers. 1685 James Avenue, Miami Beach.

This location has since become the Regent Hotel and undergone a makeover leaving the exterior a muted, bland shadow of it’s former self.

Then we go inside. Filming location unknown.

Then we go inside the OCB. Filmed on studio set.

Then Stan goes into action. First we see Montoya arrive on the scene. Only in reality he is not on the scene. His directing his men into the building was actually miles away, filmed on location at Jimbo’s on Virginia Key. Whenever you see a beat up old VW in a shot think of Jimbo’s and you are likely right. This is the eighth episode of Miami Vice that we see Jimbo’s used, if you count World of Trouble before Freefall.

Then we cut to the river. Filmed on location at Tommy’s Boatyard, 61 SE 5th Street, Miami. We saw this location used in Contempt of Court and in the background briefly in World Of Trouble.

Then we see the Cadi headed southbound on Collins Avenue at 21st Street.

Then it cuts and they are southbound on Biscayne Blvd. passing Kim’s Valet Cleaners at 5126 Biscayne Blvd. Remarkably this same business is at this location as of the publishing of this page in 2017.
